Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CenterOf. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use CenterOf.
The service
CenterOf helps a group of people find a fair restaurant or meeting spot by scoring nearby candidates on travel time for everyone involved, and helps plan multi-stop road trips. Results depend on third-party data (primarily Google Maps) and are estimates — actual travel times, prices, ratings, and availability can differ from what's shown.
Accounts
You need an account (via Clerk) to save searches or road trips, or to subscribe to CenterOf Pro. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
Free and Pro plans
CenterOf offers a free tier with limited people-per-search, travel modes, and results, and a paid "Pro" subscription that removes those limits. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe via Clerk Billing, on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal linked from your account. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
Affiliate links
CenterOf includes links to third-party services — OpenTable, Uber, Lyft, Booking.com, and Hotels.com — some of which may earn us a referral commission if you make a booking or take a ride through them. These are separate services with their own terms; we aren't responsible for your experience with them.
Acceptable use
Use CenterOf lawfully and don't try to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to collect data on other people without their knowledge.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
CenterOf is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that results are accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that any restaurant, route, or third-party booking will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using CenterOf, or delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top when we do; continuing to use CenterOf after a change means you accept the updated terms.
